FS#171 - Fault with export to STATA 13, 14

EpiData Manager: (2017/05/09 - 13:16:18)
Program Version: r1393
Core version: r1360
FPC Version: 3.0.0
Platform: x86_64-Win64

STATA versions 13 and 14 of attached dataset gives the following error message when attempting to read into STATA v14.2 (8 core single user): ".dta file corrupt
The marker </data> was not found in the file where it was expected to be. This means
that the file was written incorrectly or that the file has subsequently become damaged."

The downside to using lower versions of STATA is that memo fields (which are a great idea) are not always correctly exported (missing data throws up 31 December 1959 and so variable type is changed if no data for any record in that field). A work round is to export to csv, open in Excel, save file as an Excel file. This resulting file can then be imported into STATA but downside is that all the labels are lost so really do want to export to a high enough version so that all fields are correctly exported.
