Although the Mac applications inside the APP package have datestamps that reflect when they were built, the wrappers have not been changed since the first versions were released. Mac users see the date of the package, not the date of the APP unless they look at the package contents. This can be confusing when deciding what copy to keep.

Is it possible to put the current date/time on the package before zipping it?

I've built a generic EpiData icon that can be applied to these apps (attached). I'm happy to try to make others that reflect the Win icons. Let me know.
